Use this to reframe surface-level symptoms into powerful insight.

 

âś… Summarize Clearly

→ Reflect back what you heard in 2–3 sentences
→ Use their own words when possible

âś… Spot the Pattern

→ Look for deeper themes (time, money, team, systems)
→ Ask: “What’s underneath this?” 

âś… Test the Reframe

→ “Here’s what I’m wondering—is it possible the real issue is [root cause]?”
→ “Have you thought about it this way?” 

âś… Pause to Let It Land

→ Let silence do the heavy lifting
→ Watch their reaction—that’s your signal you nailed it

âś… Get Confirmation

→ “Does that resonate?” or “Tell me if I’m off base…”

 

When you get the head nod—or better yet, the pause—you’ve earned trust and set up the next phase beautifully.
