Win More Clients with The Benevolent Servant Leader™ framework

Winning clients is easy when you learn this simple principle:

Done correctly, salesmanship and leadership are the same thing.

Specifically we should have our prospects interest as a high priority (be benevolent).

Our desire should be to serve them And help them achieve their goals (be a servant).

We must lead them through Their fears, doubts, and limiting beliefs to reach a good decision (be a leader).

To accomplish this, I developed my benevolent servant leader, (BSL) framework.

Here's my 6-step Benevolent Servant Leader™ Framework:

  1. Connect: Start by building rapport and framing the call. Use rapport tools like mentioning commonalities seen in LinkedIn profiles or recent accomplishments. Frame the conversation by setting expectations and ensuring they're prepared to take notes and engage.

  2. Discover: Identify where they are, where they want to be, and the obstacles in their way. Ask questions that open up their imagination and help them articulate their desires and challenges.

  3. Diagnose: Dive deeper to understand the root causes of their obstacles. Whether it's cash flow, profit issues, or other operational challenges, your goal is to uncover these layers through thoughtful inquiry.

  4. Prescribe: Offer a clear, unique solution that outlines a roadmap they can follow with your guidance. This stage positions you as a servant leader dedicated to their success.

  5. Offer: Clearly state what they need to do next to embark on this journey with you. Provide them with options and help them choose the best path forward.

  6. Commit: Secure commitments on three levels—following the process, scheduling the next session, and arranging payment.
